Hendersonville Tomorrow Committee
‘Utilizing broad-based citizen involvement, The Hendersonville Tomorrow Committee will develop a community vision to improve the City of Hendersonville, encompassing what it should be fifteen years into the future.
Subjects that will be covered include: parks & recreation; transportation; infrastructure; beautification; economic development; housing; elderly services; youth services and urban redevelopment.
The Hendersonville Greenways Committee delivered its Report to the Hendersonville Tomorrow Committee on March 31, 2006.
With the filing of our report on March 31, 2006, our committee has no further official capacity unless the Board of Mayor and Aldermen choose to perpetuate it.
One recommendation that I did make is that the work of the biking committee should be continued
and that they should become an official Greenways Committee. To me this is a no brainer, since there is
no cost to the city to do this and they have an excellent committee that should be allowed to continue to work
toward their goals. . . . Shirley Wilson, Chairman - HTC: May 12, 2006
